Erforscht das ukrainische Puppentheater aus der Perspektive der postkolonialen Studien (mit besonderem Augenmerk auf die Zeit der sowjetischen kulturellen und ideologischen Besetzung der ukrainischen professionellen Szene). Besonderes Augenmerk wird auf die Analyse der Verbindungen zwischen dem Erbe des ukrainischen Puppenspiels und dem europäischen Theaterprozess gelegt.
